Aureline Chambers was founded on a simple conviction: that most disputes are decided by how well the case was put at the start, and that too many people never get that far. We advise individuals and organisations, establish what happened, and put the case in writing to the other side.
We are at our most useful early, when the facts are still recoverable, the evidence can still be preserved, and a well made complaint can resolve a matter without proceedings.
Where a matter outgrows that stage, we say so, and we brief counsel to take it on. The groundwork travels with it, so the handover loses nothing.
Precision
A case is put once, properly. We establish the facts, identify what the law actually requires, and write for the person who will have to decide.
Candour
We say what a matter is worth and where it is weak, including when the answer is that it should not be pursued.
Continuity
When a matter moves to counsel, the groundwork travels with it. Chronology, evidence, analysis and correspondence, ready to be picked up rather than started again.
